Requirements

• Age 18+
• High School diploma or GED.
• All caregivers are required to complete a background check, reference check, and TB test prior to working with clients. We will assist you with completing these during the on-boarding process.
• Exhibit competency in skills and knowledge related to direct care. This may be satisfied by previous experience or a training program we will provide you with.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Independent Living Philosophy while caring for clients in their own home.
• Follow a pre-determined care plan that is unique to each client, ensuring each client gets care that is tailored to their needs.
• Eagerly assist our clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
• Prepare and serve meals, and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping when necessary.
• Provide companionship and encourage daily activity to promote physical and mental well-being.
