Home Care Assistant /Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Piedmont Crossing, a vibrant continuing care retirement community dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents, is seeking a dynamic and passionate and knowledgeable Home Care Companion to join our team. Piedmont Crossing is a premier retirement community located in the picturesque Davidson County, North Carolina. We offer a blend of small-town charm and access to the amenities of nearby cities like Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem Home Care Assistant (CNA) Full-time & Part-time positions available! The Home Care Assistant is accountable for the delivery of quality home care services to the programs's patients in conjunction with physician's directions, company and industry standards, and insurance guidelines as assigned by a registered nurse. The home care assistant is supervised by a licensed nurse to deliver quality home care services to the patients.
Requirements
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Minimum of six (6) months of supervised work experience as a nurse aide in a skilled nursing or acute care setting (one year preferred).
- Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification and current in required in-services.
- Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations.
- Current listing with no substantiated findings on the state Nurse Aide Registry.
- Completion of a written or manual competency test and evaluation for Level 1 In-Home Aide duties may be required.
- Minimum of twelve hours of documented in-service instruction per calendar year of home health employment.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, means of transportation and ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage is strongly preferred.
