And our newest service line, James L. West at Home, is growing quickly. We’re looking for a Home Care Scheduler — but not the kind who just fills in boxes on a calendar. We’re looking for someone who can orchestrate care. This is not a behind-the-scenes-only position. This is the heartbeat of our Home Care team. You’ll be the person who: Connects compassionate Care Partners with clients who need them most Welcomes and recruits new Care Partners into our mission In short: you’ll make sure no client feels forgotten and no Care Partner feels unsupported. This role requires more than scheduling experience. It requires someone who: Is naturally personable, warm, and outgoing Thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days look the same Can problem-solve calmly when three things need attention at once Is confident communicating with families navigating dementia care Balances heart and organization with equal strength Can build trust quickly with both staff and clients You must be someone who sees people — not just shifts. At James L. West at Home, you won’t just coordinate schedules. You’ll help families stay together longer. You’ll support Care Partners who are doing sacred work. Requirements
- Prior scheduling experience (required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Reliable personal transportation
- Ability to work full-time, in person (no remote option available)
Responsibilities
- Trains, mentors, and places them with the right families
- Steps in when shifts need coverage (and sometimes steps into the field yourself)
- Manages long-term care insurance documentation and payments
- Keeps client admissions paperwork organized and compliant
- Oversees incoming prospects and potential clients in our CRM
- Ensures schedules run smoothly — even when life doesn’t
