Our processing pharmacy technicians operate in a call center environment making both inbound and outbound calls. This is a full time, day shift opportunity working Monday-Friday, within the hours of 8:30AM - 5:30PM. This opportunity also offers the ability to work from home once fully trained, as allowed. This is based on rotation, 2 months at home and one month in office if expectations are met. You must have prescription drug data entry experience as this is a high-volume data entry site, and must know how to type prescriptions, read sig codes and have common knowledge of medications. No weekends or holidays are currently required. POSITION SUMMARY This position will prepare, dispense, and compound medication under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide prescription support services for patients to ensure safe, appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of medication therapy. Provide excellent customer service skills, high attention to detail, strong problem solving, documentation and computer skills. Work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to support pharmaceutical care activities, complete pharmacy billing activities, record keeping, reporting, inventory management, and arrange appropriate medication delivery.
