About The Position

Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Flexible Schedule / Pay Per Visit We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing home health team . This position offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay per visit , allowing you to provide quality patient care while maintaining a strong work-life balance. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Michigan
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance, and endurance
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising PT
• Document patient visits and treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and fall prevention
• Maintain compliance with home health regulations and agency policies
