About The Position

Superior Medical Equipment Company has an immediate opening for a Home Medical Equipment Warehouse Manager in Colorado Springs area. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of the company warehouse. Reports any misconduct, suspicious, or unethical activities to the corporate officer. Represents the company professionally and courteously in all interactions with clients/patients. Maintains equipment tracking and lot number tracking for oxygen and solutions. Maintains equipment maintenance per manufacturer's guidelines. Maintains equipment deliver records. Manages all equipment recalls. Maintains adequate inventory levels. Assists in resolving client delivery concerns and complaints. Assumes on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy. Reports equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in compliance with company policy. O versees recordkeeping for accuracy and completion, and manages the flow of up-to-date information between warehouse and departments such as accounts receivable, accounts payable and customer service. Monitors operational expenses for compliance with the company expense budget. Generates and analyzes reports on warehouse activities, and provides reports to VP - Operations. Ensures implementation of processes to measure, assess, and improve the performance of the warehouse. Develops, reviews and suggests changes to warehouse policies and procedures as needed. Ensures ongoing compliance with laws and regulations; ensures warehouse meets or exceeds accreditation standards, & implements "best practices." Recruits, hires, and directs warehouse staff members. Schedules performance evaluations and goals for warehouse staff annually; and monitors progress toward these goals on a consistent basis. Reviews and approves payroll for department staff. Delegates authority as necessary to ensure all responsibilities of this position are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner. Participates in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participates in company's Performance Management program as requested by the Performance Management Coordinator. Participates in company committees when requested. Pursues continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license, clean record for past three years
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL) if required

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of home medical equipment experience preferred
