About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Home Turnover Specialist to prepare homes for new residents. This role is essential to creating a welcoming, clean, and move-in-ready environment. Responsibilities include deep cleaning, minor repairs, touch-ups, and coordinating with other departments as needed to ensure a smooth transition between occupants. Cook Properties is New York State’s largest owner and operator of manufactured housing communities. Our portfolio includes 100+ mobile home parks totaling 7,000 pads. We also own and manage 200,000+ square feet of commercial, retail, and office space, along with 2,000 self-storage units.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of vacant homes including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, appliances, windows, and fixtures
• Complete minor repairs or maintenance tasks such as patching holes, replacing filters, and tightening hardware
• Remove all debris, trash, and leftover belongings from previous occupants
• Check homes for needed supplies or replacement items (e.g., light bulbs, blinds, smoke detector batteries)
• Report larger maintenance concerns to the appropriate department
• Ensure homes meet company standards for cleanliness and presentation before new resident arrival
• Assist with home inspections and final walk-throughs when needed
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organized and in good condition
• Collaborate with property management and service teams to meet turnover deadlines
