Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
General knowledge and skills in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repair.
Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge, particularly email, and the ability to create legible written reports.
Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Availability for on-call rotation as needed during non-business hours.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Home & Facility Repairs
Master the Trades: Perform a wide range of minor repairs in homes and facilities, including general plumbing (fixing leaks, replacing toilet parts), carpentry (hanging doors, replacing locks), and electrical work (changing receptacles, identifying breakers).
Be the Expert: Inspect and repair common area amenities like laundry facilities and playground equipment to ensure they are safe and operational.
Maintain Vacant Sites: Prepare homes for new residents by performing necessary strap-downs and general upkeep.
Community Upkeep & Grounds Support
Enhance Curb Appeal: Partner with the grounds team to maintain the overall cleanliness and beauty of the community.
Tackle Seasonal Tasks: Assist with seasonal lawn care, trash collection, and snow removal to keep the community pristine and safe year-round.
Safety & Professionalism
Work Smart, Not Hard: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper operation of vehicles and machinery.
Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent Havenpark with professionalism in all your interactions with residents and team members.
