About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Lab Operations Manager to join our team. This is a remote position. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm Job Responsibilities: Support the operational design, financial modeling, and implementation of strategic business partnerships with hospitals and health systems. Contribute to long-term relationship management by monitoring performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and ensuring partnership objectives are met. Perform detailed operational and financial data analysis for large healthcare systems to identify improvement opportunities, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving strategies. Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations aligned with strategic partnership goals. Conduct comprehensive operational assessments across laboratory workflows, staffing, equipment utilization, and productivity. Develop and present process improvement recommendations that enhance operational performance and support strategic objectives. Lead MSA (Management Services Agreement) implementation efforts as project manager, including creation of project plans, timelines, communication structures, and risk mitigation strategies. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—operations, finance, IT, supply chain, and executive leadership—to execute project deliverables and ensure successful transition outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology
  • ASCP or equivalent
  • 5 years clinical lab experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Travel 20%-30%
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
