Responsibilities
- Work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital.
- Provide care for an average daily census of 14-18 patients per shift.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, and palliative care.
- Participate in a hospitalist schedule of 14-17 shifts per month, with no more than 3 night shifts per year.
Requirements
- Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- EMR proficient.
- Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic.
- Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence.
- Proven solid verbal and written communication skills.
