About The Position

The Host/Audio Producer position is the voice of MORNING EDITION and other on-air content on WGLT and WCBU. The position also leads production of on-air promos and imaging work, helps to manage WGLT and WCBU automation and traffic systems, and supports weekend music programming.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mass media, journalism, media, communications, public relations or related field.
• One (1) year of broadcast media and audio production experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with public media and the NPR Network.
• Familiarity with Central Illinois news and media markets.
• Live hosting experience in radio or TV.
