Tsunami Sushi is a vibrant, fast-paced restaurant seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you set the tone for the entire dining experience. Requirements

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Friendly, professional attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Dependable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using our seating system.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Keep the host stand and entry area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Answer phone calls, take to-go orders, and assist with guest inquiries.
• Support the front-of-house team during busy shifts as needed.
