What You’ll Do as a Host/Hostess Warmly welcome guests with confidence, professionalism, and a sense of hospitality. Manage table assignments and reservations using Seven Rooms or similar systems. Maintain calm and order at the host stand—even during peak times. Answer phones and guest inquiries with clarity, patience, and professionalism. Keep the entrance and lobby area clean, organized, and inviting. Communicate clearly with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations. Step up to assist with guest concerns, checkouts, or team support when needed. Set the example in punctuality, appearance, and professionalism.
