About The Position

Local Table is our full-service, fine dining restaurant where Residents and guests gather for exceptional meals and meaningful connections. We’re looking for a warm, attentive Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our dining room. What You’ll Do Ensures prompt courteous service for Residents and guests following Willow Valley standards. Escorts Residents and guests to their table, provides menus, gives specials and pours ice water. Monitors adherence to the dress code for Residents and guests. Responsible for the set up and monitoring of special events, in addition to the normal daily operations. Updates menus as directed Assists with clearing and resetting tables at the conclusion of the meal for the next group of diners or next meal period. Inspects dining room and serving stations for neatness and cleanliness. Maintains a smooth flow of dining room functions to ensure Willow Valley standards are met. Expedites the efficient flow of food orders from the back of the house to the front of the house to maintain proper timing for service. Check plates before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature. Communicates with the server when the table is ready and assist with food delivery. Follows Willow Valley’s HACCP plan and Food Safety policies and procedures What You Bring Prior restaurant experience preferred Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
