About The Position

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a friendly and welcoming Host (Part Time) | The Ice House (Beer Garden) to join our team. The Omni Frisco PGA Resort provides north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment. Ice House is a Frisco beer garden featuring smokehouse barbeque, burgers, and high energy food that is meant to be shared. It’s an indoor/outdoor bar with hitting bays and Texas sized frozen drinks and ice-cold draft beers. This position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior host experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Available to work PM shifts and weekends.
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Control high volume outside of restaurant.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and wellbeing of guests.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
