Host - Dining Services
About The Position
Carolina Meadows, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is one of the nation's foremost continuing-care retirement communities. Our mission is to enrich and improve the lives of residents and those connected to our community. We do this by continuously striving to be the best place to live and work. We are looking for a Host to support our Independent Living Dining Services. No late hours and flexible scheduling! Shifts are generally 4-8pm, and every other weekend. This position is primarily responsible for greeting and seating residents, guests, and staff in the dining room.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
- Possess high - quality verbal and written communication ability
- Strong customer service skills
- Be willing to become completely knowledgeable of sanitation and cleaning methods.
Nice To Haves
- Six months to one year of dining room experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
