Sunday River is seeking a dynamic Front Office Manager to lead our front desk and guest services teams at the Grand Summit Hotel and Snow Cap Inn. As the Front Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our front office services. You will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, night audit, valet, bell, and ski check teams, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Sunday River’s high standards of hospitality. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to foster a positive, service-focused team culture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Energetic, upbeat, and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of front desk agents, night audit staff, valet attendants, bell persons, and ski check teams.
  • Maintain exceptional service standards to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to promptly address guest needs and concerns.
  • Oversee night audit operations to ensure accurate billing and reporting.
  • Train and develop front office staff to consistently deliver exceptional service and uphold our brand standards.
  • Implement effective front office procedures and policies.
  • Monitor guest feedback and proactively address any issues.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and a commitment to resolution.
  • Manage and maintain the property's front office budget.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and provide performance feedback.
