Hotel Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management Intern

The B. F. Saul Company concentrates on ownership, development, and construction of commercial real estate. The internship will be a 10-week role from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026 spent rotating among pre-assigned operational sales & marketing departments. Key areas of focus will be as follows: Business Development, Social Media Management, Event Planning, and Sales Systems.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to meet multiple priorities and deadlines
- Able to travel locally to hotels in the area (Northern Virginia and Maryland)
Nice To Haves
- A current student or recent graduate of a Hospitality or Business program from an accredited college or university preferred
- 3.0 GPA or higher
Responsibilities
- Complete interdepartmental rotation of key hotel departments
- Gain general overview of operations of the hotels; both full service and select service
- Review Group contracts and BEOs and process for developing these documents
- Review Catering Menus and process for design and costing
- Shadow leaders for each key area (sales, catering, marketing, revenue management)
- Provide social media and digital marketing support to hotel teams
- Enhance marketing and recruitment presence on company website
- Assist with review and explanation of weekly sales and STR reports
- Identify and implement improvements to current processes
