We have two children, ages 5 and 3, who are currently in Montessori preschool but will soon transition to the same preschool/elementary school in the Fall. Our household is filled with energy, creativity, and a strong desire to spend quality time together. Both parents work remotely in demanding careers as lawyers, with Mom traveling monthly and Dad traveling quarterly. Our family’s philosophy centers around being present with the kids. We want to create an environment where we can focus on nurturing their development and enjoying our time together, without the stress of managing a chaotic home. We have a small, older dog who is part of our family but requires little maintenance. We love having a home that feels comfortable, organized, and welcoming. However, the house can feel hectic with both parents working, the kids’ activities, and the daily demands of life. We are looking for a dedicated and proactive House Manager & Family Assistant who can help us bring order and organization to the household, provide reliable support with childcare in the afternoons, and handle various household tasks. Our goal is to ease the workload so we can focus on what matters most: being present with our children and enjoying time together as a family. Who You Are You are a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced home environment. You take pride in managing a home that runs smoothly, ensuring that the daily tasks are handled efficiently. Your approach is hands-on, and you genuinely enjoy engaging with children. You take a “big picture” approach to managing the household, able to anticipate needs and set up systems that reduce stress and improve efficiency. You’ll notice tasks that need doing and step in without waiting for direction. Your high executive functioning skills allow you to juggle multiple responsibilities whether it’s organizing the house, meal prepping, or handling childcare without missing a beat.
