About The Position

90% FTE, evening/night shift, hours between 7:00pm - 7:00am, with a weekend rotation. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at the American Family Children's Hospital located in Madison, WI. Pay : Additional components of compensation may include: Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and 4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to: Use your knowledge of policies, procedures and practices of the state, university, hospital and Department of Nursing as they relate to the operations of the hospital and clinics. Bring your knowledge of staffing models and oversee staffing. Prioritize workload /assignments. Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in nursing Required
  • 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience Required
  • Licensed RN in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • CPR certification Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing Preferred
  • Previous experience in a formal leadership role (such as Care Team Leader, Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager) Preferred
  • Adult and Pediatric experience Preferred
  • ACLS Preferred
  • PALS Preferred
