A bit about us: We are an easy-going, fun family of 5, including our lovable pug, Toby! It’s difficult to stay on top of organization and clutter with two young children (1 and 3), so we are looking for that household support (100% home-focused). Our home is approximately 1,150 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms . We are fully committed to supporting your organizational decisions to ensure you can work effectively. We have a house cleaner who comes twice a month for deep cleaning, and a part-time nanny for childcare, so this role is for someone who loves to organize and create systems to stay organized. A bit about you: You are an experienced, independent person with a home-maker (or Tetris) personality who enjoys creating order. You feel comfortable taking the lead on organizational tasks and "doing first," ensuring the home is set up for success before the family’s workday begins. You’re the not the type of person who waits for instructions; you’re an assertive, problem-solving person. Job Duties: This is a 100% domestic-focused role with no childcare responsibilities and no deep cleaning. For the first couple of hours in the morning, your focus is on resetting the home. With the remaining hours, your focus is on meal prep for lunch and chopping ingredients set aside for dinner, tracking inventory, and methods for long-term organization. As long as you are available Monday-Friday (7a-9a or 8a-10a), you have flexibility with how you distribute the remaining 10 hours of organizational work throughout the week. Active Surface Management: Our primary goal is to maintain clear, functional common areas. We need someone proactive who will regularly "reset" the kitchen island, counters, and tables. Hands-on Maintenance: This role includes daily tasks like laundry (folding and putting away), dishes, meal prep, and keeping the refrigerators organized. Organizational Upkeep: In a busy home with young children, items can accumulate quickly. We’re looking for a candidate who is comfortable with high-frequency tidying and can independently manage the flow of belongings to keep the house feeling open and orderly. Inventory: You can track and provide lists to parents of items that need to be restocked for the home, children’s hygiene, the pantry, and the fridge. You can rotate children’s closets, removing clothing and toys that are outgrown for suggested donation.
