About The Position
The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. We are currently seeking a self- motivated, energetic Housekeepers to perform the following: Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, comfortable, sanitary attractive environment. Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning of assigned areas and supply usage. Other housekeeping duties as needed such as cleaning and maintaining floors. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing Compassionate Care. This agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190. A fingerprint- supported national background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment. This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $7.89 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1). This position offers 15% on top of base pay for all hours worked on second and third shifts and 25% on top of base pay for all hours worked on a holiday or weekend.
