Housekeepers ensure a positive overall impression of the Guthrie Theater through the effective practice of appropriate cleaning and sanitation standards. This position works with the Associate Director of Facilities, the Environmental Services Assistant Manager, the Housekeeping Leads, and other staff members to ensure that building maintenance requirements are met. As the theater operates daily and is focused on patron and program needs, a flexible schedule is required. All employees are expected to center, model and champion the Guthrie’s core values of Artistic Excellence; Community; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility; and Fiscal Responsibility. Hours are reflective of the dynamic schedule of the theater and require the willingness to work a flexible schedule to help cover performances in the evenings and weekends as needed. Available shift times are 7am-3:30pm and 4pm-12:30am. (Evening shifts potentially end as late as 12:30am when performances are scheduled.) The Guthrie is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
