About The Position
Havenwyck Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited and licensed psychiatric hospital, overlooking Lake Galloway in Auburn Hills, Michigan. We specialize in providing comprehensive, compassionate behavioral health services to children, adolescents and adults. Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Housekeeper to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Employees must be in good standing (employment/corrective action history, performance evaluations, etc.) to be considered for an internal transfer.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning office and support areas
- Turn beds for discharges
- Cleans and mops floors.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Cleans windows and window sills.
- Empties trash baskets and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion.
- Uses necessary equipment and supplies in proper manner to accomplish job tasks.
- Detects unclean areas and takes necessary action to insure that the Hospital cleaning standards are met.
- Exercises initiative and judgment in maintaining assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Prepares soiled linen for pick up by contract laundry.
