About The Position

Auburn Village has an immediate openings for a Housekeeper at our Auburn Village facility in Auburn, Indiana. The position available is Full-Time (Non-Exempt), during week and every other weekend with an 8-hour shift 7:30a-4:00p. NEW STARTING RATE OF $15.50 PER HOUR!!! Requirements

Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Housekeeping experience in healthcare environment is a plus
High school graduate
Experience in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Personable and professional demeanor
Must be punctual and friendly
Must have passion to work with elderly residents
Must be compassionate, understanding and tolerant of older adults

Responsibilities

Clean resident, staff and visitor areas of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing as directed
Replenish supply of soap and towels in appropriate receptacles
Monitor the care and use of supplies, cleaning equipment and the appearance of laundry areas
