About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of common areas, vacant units, and offices within the property. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience (property management experience preferred).
  • Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees
  • Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, fitness centers, restrooms, and offices.
  • Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring all fixtures are spotless.
  • Notify management or maintenance staff of any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or needed repairs.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing, window cleaning, or seasonal deep cleans.
  • Remove trash and debris from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
