About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of common areas, vacant units, and offices within the property. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience (property management experience preferred).
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
Possession of a valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, fitness centers, restrooms, and offices.
Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring all fixtures are spotless.
Notify management or maintenance staff of any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or needed repairs.
Assist with special cleaning projects such as carpet shampooing, window cleaning, or seasonal deep cleans.
Remove trash and debris from designated areas and ensure proper disposal.
