About The Position

UPMC Western Behavioral Health is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to support Twin Lakes in Somerset, PA! The incumbent will join the maintenance team at our Residential Facility in Somerset, PA. Shifts for this role can include 8 and/or 12-hour shifts and can include evenings and/or nights depending on department need. Candidates with a valid driver's license are preferred as incumbent may travel to trainings and other Twin Lakes facilities in addition to providing patient transportation. Prior maintenance experience is preferred. Free parking is available on site. Ability to problem-solve and remain flexible is preferred.

Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties.
Ability to use housekeeping equipment.
May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored.
No contact with medications is allowed.
Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
Act 34 with renewal

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of POWRR Curriculum preferred.
Candidates with a valid driver's license are preferred
Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
Ability to problem-solve and remain flexible is preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.
Remove trash from all assigned areas.
Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.
Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply.
Move equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.
Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
