About The Position
Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, the historic Hotel Cleveland, a Marriott Autograph Collection property, offers 491 newly renovated guest rooms and exceptional service. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our housekeeping team and ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, and public spaces according to Marriott and Hotel Cleveland standards. This role plays a vital part in providing a positive guest experience through exceptional cleanliness, attention to detail, and professional service.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required – training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities
- Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replace and replenish towels, linens, guest supplies, and amenities.
- Ensure all assigned areas meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow proper procedures for the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supply areas in a neat and organized manner.
- Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the wellbeing of guests and team members.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist in cleaning public areas when necessary.
