The Glen Retirement System is currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join our team in our Long-Term Care Community, Village Health Care at The Glen. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms
- Empty trash and replenish supplies
- Perform deep cleaning and room preparation for new residents
- Report maintenance needs and supply shortages
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and follow cleaning schedules
