Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of housekeeping/laundry experience in a healthcare setting.
Ability to read and understand standard English.
Effective customer service skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are clean and inviting.
Ensure proper cleaning of patient bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers.
Monitor cleanliness of hallways and common areas by ensuring mopping, stripping, and buffing of floors are completed according to standards.
Ensure furniture, walls, and equipment are regularly cleaned to maintain a pleasant environment.
Train and guide housekeeping staff to safely and effectively use cleaning agents and adhere to all safety procedures.
Establish and enforce cleaning schedules to ensure timely and thorough cleaning throughout the facility.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and comfort of our facility.
