About The Position

Midas Hospitality is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the beautiful Hotel Canandaigua. This role supports both the housekeeping department and event operations, helping ensure our hotel consistently delivers award-winning cleanliness and exceptional guest experiences. Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, this position oversees daily housekeeping operations of all spaces within the hotel to include; rooms, public and event spaces, while also assisting with the setup, breakdown of banquet and event spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • Assign daily work based on vacant and stayover room lists
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are met to brand, company, and guest expectations
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment; assist with monthly inventory and inventory control
  • Secure and manage housekeeping, maid, and guest room keys
  • Assist with cleaning, inspections, and laundry services as needed
  • Document and communicate maintenance issues to the maintenance department
  • Oversee and assist with setup and breakdown of banquet and event spaces
  • Ensure all event rooms are clean, properly set, and ready before and after events
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of event spaces and storage areas
  • Empty waste receptacles and maintain overall cleanliness of function areas
  • Assist in maintaining clean and organized storage and equipment areas
  • Ensure accurate room setups per event orders and hotel standards
  • Check room setups prior to events to ensure accuracy and readiness
  • Be aware of upcoming groups, events, and conventions
  • Complete banquet setup and breakdown as needed
  • Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management
