About The Position

Grand Lodge has 109 independent and 10 assisted living apartment homes. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. The overall purpose of this job is to maintain excellence in the cleanliness upkeep of the retirement community. The primary responsibilities of this job include organizing, assigning, inspecting and re-assigning work as necessary to meet or exceed the expectations for quality and efficiency of the cleaning and upkeep of the community. The supervisor is involved in hiring and training housekeeping staff and ensuring satisfactory performance in the completion of their duties. The employee may perform some functions of the housekeeper(s) in addition to performing lead duties in the department to ensure quality in all aspects of the appearance of the environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Two (2) years of general housekeeping experience is required.
  • One (1) year of housekeeping or related supervision experience is required.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
