About The Position

Responsible for the overall operation of one residence hall/area. This includes being available on campus after hours and on weekends (when on call) to respond to emergencies, and providing student support for a variety of student issues that arise throughout the year. Provides support and direction for the development of a positive community as well as providing leadership in the enforcement of hall policies. Responsible for leadership in some of the following areas: marketing; assessment; Residence Hall Association; Tech Wars; intramurals; programming; themed housing; community service projects; or managing the department programming resource office. Provide administrative support which includes: building maintenance reporting; follow up, room safety/security checks, maintain office hours; maintain room inventories, complete room changes, key control/inventories, building security. Supervise student staff to include training, development and evaluation.
