Student Support and Equity Programs (SSEP) aims to make a positive difference in the lives of students through high-quality programs and services that promote educational opportunity, student learning, and success. The department oversees various student programs and service areas that support underserved populations that are primarily first-generation, low-income, underrepresented students such as, the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), Renaissance Scholars (RS), Undocumented Students Services (USS), Project Rebound (PR), and other similar support service programs. Project Rebound (PR) supports the successful reintegration of formerly incarcerated students by providing holistic, student-centered services that remove barriers to enrollment, persistence, and graduation. The program is committed to increasing higher education access for formerly incarcerated individuals and advancing student success through advocacy, education, and support. Grounded in values of accountability, second chances, and perseverance the program offers tailored support including admissions guidance, academic counseling, financial aid navigation, basic needs support, housing stability assistance, and career preparation.
