About The Position

The HR Administrator provides day‑to‑day administrative support to the Human Resources team across all functional areas, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, and compliance. This role ensures accurate data management, timely communication, and a positive employee and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of HR support or administrative experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Skills & Abilities Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; experience with UKG preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and decisive judgment ability.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently.
  • Proactive, driven, results oriented attitude.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Physical and Cognitive Requirements Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and materials up to 20 lbs on occasion.
  • Ability to use office equipment, computers, and various electronic devices constantly throughout workday.
  • Ability to move around office environment and reach with hands and arms regularly.
  • Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to focus and complete tasks throughout workday in office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with retention requirements.
  • Prepare HR documents such as employment verification letters, status change forms, and onboarding materials.
  • Post job openings across internal and external job boards.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and background checks.
  • Assist with job descriptions, requisition tracking, job offer documents and new-hire paperwork.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation logistics and ensure all required documents are collected.
  • Support offboarding processes including exit documentation, equipment return, and final record updates.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and changes.
  • Support open enrollment preparation and communication.
  • Support compliance activities including I 9 audits, required postings, and policy administration.
  • Prepare standard HR reports (headcount, turnover, PTO balances, etc.).
  • Help coordinate HR programs such as recognition events, wellness activities, and training sessions.
  • Draft clear, professional communication for HR announcements, reminders, and updates.
  • Other duties as required.
