About The Position

As an HR Compliance Supervisor with American Security Force, you will serve and safeguard clients while providing exceptional customer service in a professional setting. This role includes in ensuring that organization adheres to all HR- related laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent, OR 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service skills REQUIRED
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to commute to different sites as needed
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background check and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the security industry is a PLUS
  • Previous experience with the hiring process including interviewing is a PLUS
  • HR Compliance experience is a PLUS (willing to train)
  • An active California Guard Card is a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Creating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment and regulations.
  • Frequent compliance auditing of i-9 forms, or employees
  • Leading HR investigations to resolve workplace issues before they escalate
  • Regularly checking and updating policies to ensure they are compliant with current laws, monitoring policies
  • Lead investigations into workplace complaints, ensuring confidentiality, impartiality, and thorough documentation
  • Reference checks for pre-employment purposes
  • Identifying and resolving any violation of HR laws and regulations
  • Providing guidance and support on HR laws and regulations to employees
  • Overseeing the compliance with various regulatory requirements
  • Implementing counseling forms to all employees that are not clocking in/out, or taking lunches/breaks on time, or not wearing proper PPE or uniform as required per client request or post orders
  • Conduct regular internal HR audits to assess compliance with statutory and internal policies
  • Conducting training sessions on compliance issues to educate employees as needed
  • Keeping detailed records of compliance activities and employee security training
  • HR Compliance Supervisor will have to commute to client sites if needed to provide the employees with any forms required by the company such as counseling forms, and/or other forms
  • Draft and issue disciplinary actions, from written warning to termination notices, ensuring fairness and consistency
  • Regular site inspections are conducted to assess the effectiveness of security measures
  • Assist with pre-screening potential candidate, interviewing, and assist new hires with orientation and integration into the company as needed
  • Assist with other departments as needed (will be cross trained)
  • These duties are essential for maintaining a compliant and ethical workplace environment.
