The main purpose of this full-time position will be to serve as the HR Data Analyst for the Maryland Department of Health, Office of Human Resources. The HR Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources, including Workday, Training, Payroll, JobAps, and other HR systems. This role will also provide meaningful metrics and insights to support informed management decision‑making. The analyst will design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate trends and findings to HR teams and agency leadership. This position will also recommend process improvements based on data insights, support compliance efforts, and ensure HR policies align with applicable employment laws. In addition, this role will conduct statistical analyses to identify relationships between HR activities and organizational outcomes, helping drive strategic, data‑driven initiatives across the department.
