About The Position

Process new hire onboarding start to finish, including union and non-union Update HRIS/payroll system for employee data maintenance Maintain physical and digital personnel records Manage benefits administration and respond to employee questions Distribute benefit information to new hires Draft project assignment letters Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures Understand and follow federal, state, and local laws around hiring Fosters productive relationships with clients, customers, and technicians Partners with various internal departments including accounting, operations, and legal Special projects as assigned All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Prior experience in HR, particularly in onboarding and compliance roles is preferred
  • Strong PC skills, with proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and display a sense of urgency
  • Function with little supervision.
  • Be an effective team player
  • High energy, self-motivated, service-oriented and ethical with a high degree of integrity
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to move around the office up to 20% of the time to make copies, etc.
  • This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g. copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis.
  • This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
  • This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Company’s employees, clients, vendors and/or contractors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be valid to work in the United States.
