About The Position

PFFCU is hiring a HR Leave & Accommodation Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees requesting leave of absence or workplace accommodations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations while supporting employees through important life and health events.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience with a focus on leave administration/policies
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and related employment laws
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Managing and administering leave of absence requests
  • Overseeing accommodations related to ADA and other applicable laws
  • Ensuring compliance with FMLA and other federal, state, and local leave regulations
  • Serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership regarding leave and accommodations and maintaining accurate documentation and confidential records
