About The Position

We're looking for a hands-on HR Operations Generalist to own the execution and integrity of the employee lifecycle — from pre-onboarding through offboarding, and everything in between. This is a systems and data first role, with primary ownership of HRIS data integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational workflows in a fast scaling environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in HR Operations/Generalist roles
  • Experience supporting or owning payroll processes required (e.g., payroll inputs, audits, vendor/PEO coordination)
  • Strong data & analytical skills (Excel/Sheets) with the ability to audit, analyze, and report on HR data, and maintain high standards of data integrity
  • Experience working with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Workday) with a strong systems mindset and comfort owning HRIS and improving workflows
  • Strong working knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations in US (Canada is nice to have).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a tech startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own HRIS, people data quality, and system workflows (data integrity, reporting, audits, and process improvements), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
  • Execute employee lifecycle operations (onboarding, changes, offboarding) with high accuracy and reliability
  • Support payroll and benefits operations (inputs, audits, vendor/PEO coordination)
  • Identify gaps and improve processes/SOPs to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Ensure compliance and proper documentation across employee records and processes
  • Partner cross-functionally (HRBP, Recruiting, Finance) to ensure operational and data accuracy
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR operations (e.g., payroll, benefits, systems)
