About The Position

The HR Recruiter is responsible for the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating the final hire. This position partners with college leadership to attract qualified candidates aligned with the mission. The Recruiter develops and executes sourcing strategies to identify candidates. This position creates and manages job postings across job boards, internal platforms, social media and targeted outreach messaging.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of full cycle recruiting practices.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other college supported systems.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and professional networking platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening and representing employer brand.
  • Strong customer services skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple job requisitions.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a team-orientated environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate cooperation and professionalism in stressful situations.
  • Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Three (3) years of recruitment or related experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.
  • Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities.
  • Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the end-to-end talent acquisition process for assigned job requisitions.
  • Partners with leadership to identify hiring needs, attract qualified candidates aligned with the college’s mission ands strategic objectives.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with community partners, colleges, professional associations, and workforce development organizations to enhance recruiting pipelines.
  • Creates and manage job postings across job boards, internal platforms, social media and targeted outreach messaging.
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for candidates, assisting with application, interview and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinates and participates in recruitment efforts such as job fairs and community outreach activities.
  • Coordinates pre-employment activities including background checks, licensing, offer letters and onboarding activities.
  • Helps maintain, monitor and update recruitment ERP.
  • Recommends process improvements and participates in continuous improvement efforts related to the talent acquisition workflow.
  • Maintains accurate documentation for hiring files and ensures audit readiness for regulatory or internal review purposes.
  • Participates in special HR projects related to talent strategy, workforce planning, or onboarding enhancement.
  • Monitors and reports on key recruitment metrics and compiles ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Conducts training on various talent acquisition content as needed.
  • Attends work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned.
