About The Position

The HR Business Partner supports, coaches and aligns with the builds business Senior Leadership Team across Americas’ portfolio (United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil) to support delivery of value-added HR services and ensure HR strategies and action plans are in place to meet the business objectives for Gutor. The incumbent will be responsible for HR processes within North and Latin America’s countries and will define and lead Americas HR strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Human Resources Consultant/ HR Business Partner, or related occupation in the electrical, manufacturing, or energy industry.
  • Strategic and hands on Business Partner, driving people, performance, structure and culture through scale up phases.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Significant HR experience supporting U.S. employees, with deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws, regulations, and business practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and external relationships with employees, managers, stakeholders, vendors.
  • Implement the US Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Canada Third Party Vendor, and Latin America Employment of Records business model for outsourcing HR processes such as Payroll and Benefits, scoping, assessment, and implementation.
  • Develop regional HR policies and processes, set-up, design, and execution.
  • Design and implement recruiting, succession planning, and talent development cycle policies and processes.
  • Execute existing day-to-day HR processes by overseeing and coordinating activities with multiple external vendors across the region.
  • Bridge global Gutor practices local HR requirements to drive best practice execution.
  • Lead and support organizational development strategies, including change management, conflict resolution, teambuilding, coaching, and/or other necessary strategies.
  • Coach and develop all levels of management through performance feedback and effective management processes.
  • Supervise the performance management process in the assigned portfolio.
  • Consult and train the line managers on HR processes, policies, and labor law.
  • Implement succession plans for key positions and individual career plans for optimal staffing and development decisions.
  • Hire for all positions in America's portfolio to ensure quality and standardize criteria around the process.
  • Lead pre-boarding and onboarding according to each country's regulations and be responsible for terminations and resignations, including executing exit interviews.
