As HRIS Application Specialist on our team, you will be responsible for the implementation of new requirements, support, and improvements to Human Resources processes and procedures. This role is a high visibility role reporting to the Director of HRIS and will be instrumental in collaborating with Business Partners and global teams across Fortinet to understand requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that can adapt and grow with our business. Successful candidate must be a subject matter expert having hands-on expertise, with the ability to work both independently and as a lead in a fast-paced environment. Principal Responsibilities: Review existing systems and processes and develop new changes to improve existing people operations from onboarding to orientation, to employment maintenance, promotions/Merit, to off-boarding and termination to help scale the business. Lead as an SME in design and development HCM Solutions, including gathering requirements and architecting solutions, testing of system changes, and end-user change management. Work with internal and external teams to ensure the HCM system is up and running without issues. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing integrations for greater scalability. Lead special initiatives for the HRIS team, collaborating with business partners from within HR and throughout Fortinet.
