About The Position

The HRIS Director is a a key leadership role in Global HR with end-to-end accountability for Kontoor’s HR technology ecosystem. The leader is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in designing a multi-year strategy that enables the Global HR function to deliver high-impact, quality solutions to the organization. This is a combination “build-run” role that will establish strong technical capability, drive efficiency, and ensure ongoing operational discipline. The role requires a strategic team leader with expertise in overseeing a team of experts responsible for enterprise-level HCM solutions, data governance, and analytics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in HR Technology management and enterprise systems including at least 5 years leading transformations or complex, multi-national portfolios.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
  • Expertise in HR/HCM systems, system integrations, data governance, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a highly accountable culture that thrives in a high-performance environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a laser focus on follow-through and delivery.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data management and systems operations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manager changing priorities and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • HRIS or HCM certifications (Workday strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Define operating norms with a focus on prioritization and empowered stakeholder collaboration enabled by transparent trade-offs and roadmaps, predictable deliver and release discipline, and exceptional technical expertise.
  • Develop and implement collaborative strategic plans for HR technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation, Maintenance, and optimization of HR technology systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Lead HR technology projects, from proactive planning and execution to completion, managing take-holder satisfaction, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Work closely with internal and external HR professionals, IT specialists, business leaders, HRBP’s and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions that enhance the broad HR technology landscape.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR Processes and systems functionality, leveraging technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure HR technology systems comply with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining data privacy and security standards.
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize HR technology accurately. Ensure training includes effective employee and people manager compliance.
  • Conduct regular system audits. Partner with the business to develop and manage reporting tools and analytics, including the building of a user report library that offers access by appropriate users to provide insights into HR metrics and trends.
  • Proactively managing relationships with HR technology vendors, including contract negotiation and on-going performance evaluations.
