Position Overview This role is remote. Vantage is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our People & Culture team. As an HRIS Specialist, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our People systems, with a focus on optimizing and supporting our HRIS (Workday). You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of People data, as well as providing technical support and data analysis to help inform our People & Culture strategies and decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of P&C processes, systems, reporting, and data management, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with Workday required.
  • Experience with Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Absence, and Reporting.
  • Understanding of HR processes.
  • Familiarity with data auditing, integrations, and support ticket management.
  • Strong ability to create advanced reporting in Workday.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Administration and Support: Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS related inquiries and support requests.
  • Support stakeholders by troubleshooting errors and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for system users as they process employee data changes, position updates, organizational structure adjustments, and other business processes in Workday.
  • System Optimization Identify opportunities to streamline processes and workflows through system enhancements and automation.
  • Assist with the configuration, testing, and implementation of system updates, bi-annual releases, and enhancements.
  • Provide input and recommendations for system configuration tailored to meet business needs.
  • User Support and Training: Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and standard operating procedures for HRIS functions.
  • Provide end-user guidance and training, when necessary, on HRIS functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient use of HR technology.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support P&C, payroll, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Validate report accuracy and ensure compliance with user specific access controls.
  • Perform routine audits, updates, and corrections in the HRIS system to ensure data integrity, compliance with policies, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data and generate insights that inform decision-making.
  • Compliance and Data Security: Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting as necessary.
  • Project Support: Assist with HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other business systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, providing HRIS expertise and support as needed.
  • Support change management activities by helping to communicate system changes and updates to users.
  • Additional Duties: Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
