Human Factors Engineer - Technical Specialist II in GAC Savannah Unique Skills: On any given day, you may: Design and lead part task simulation evaluations for detailed design requirement definition using software and physical mockups, or predictive modeling tools. Prepare, develop, and execute part task and/or simulator or flight test plans that utilize data measurement techniques such as rating scales, questionnaires, and performance measurement calculation. Guide project recommendations and mentor team in selecting any applying appropriate anthropometric modeling tools to design concept analysis. Develop trade studies on system design concepts and present human factors requirement recommendations to multidisciplinary design teams. Apply appropriate data analysis methods (descriptive or inferential statistics). Create and supervise operational tests to demonstrate human factors compliance to regulations and prepare engineering reports to substantiate compliance with Human Factors certification regulations. Document certification testing in final engineering reports. Develop and supervise human error analysis worksheets to substantiate Human Factors certification compliance. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams in analysis of system design to arrive at integrated solutions. Research and integrate new or innovative predictive tools to apply to future design development. Develop standards and guides for human factors methods. Represent Gulfstream in industry and/or regulatory committee design guidance and/or regulations to support design aspects. Additional Functions: Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company product .
