About The Position

You will influence the usability, safety, and supportability of systems, ensuring optimal performance for users. Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing design tradeoffs that affect human performance and improving veteran health outcomes. This role is integral in promoting products within the Veterans Health Administration, ensuring high standards of usability and user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in human factors engineering or closely related field.
- Deep understanding of human factors principles and usability standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SAFe's Lean Agile principles and practices.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced skills and analytical techniques to evaluate operational processes and technical systems.
- Apply the latest advancements in human factors engineering to enhance product evaluations.
- Deliver comprehensive usability assessments of products and procedures.
