About The Position

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an intern with interest in Human Factors/Ergonomics. The successful candidate will possess some basic Human Factors/Ergonomics skills and have the curiosity and drive to learn more and apply those skills to products.

Requirements

• This role is open to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Human Factors Engineering (or equivalent) or Industrial Design.
• Must have taken at least one psychology course and one human factors/ergonomics course.
• Must have an ability to travel
• Creative, strategic thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
• Capable of taking direction and working independently on assigned tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse team members as needed.
• Strong usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Conduct store studies, evaluating front end.
• Interviews and surveys of a variety of shoppers.
• Interviews and surveys of various store employees.
• Other tasks related to user evaluations for products under development.
