About The Position

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Admin performs the necessary functions to support the HR team. Will work in areas such as compliance, benefits, recruiting, and assisting with coverage in HR as needed. The position requires frequent contact with personnel inside and outside the company, requiring reasonable tact, discretion, interpersonal skills, and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have at least two years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication and a willingness to assist others
  • Attention to detail: excellent organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven computer literacy in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
  • Applicants must have the legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing facility
  • Prior experience with SAP

Responsibilities

  • Route facility calls and directs visitors arriving at the facility.
  • Acts as the primary contact for outside visitors and vendors entering the facility.
  • Administers plant HR recordkeeping programs by maintaining employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Assists with the company Affirmative Action plan.
  • Assists with various arrangements internally.
  • Assists with planning and coordinating company events and activities.
  • Assists with new hire orientation as needed.
  • Performs clerical duties as needed (typing, sort mail, sending fax communications, filing, etc.)
  • All other job duties as assigned.
