About The Position

Work for the IMF. Work for the World. The Human Resources Department (HRD) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has a vacancy for a Senior Human Resources Analyst to provide high-touch logistical and operational support for the delivery of centralized recruitment programs. This position supports the Economist Program (EP), the Fund’s flagship recruitment program which is an entry point for young economists looking to start their career at the Fund, and other talent acquisition programs including the Mid-career Economist Program and the Fund Internship Program as needed. Main Duties and Responsibilities Working under the supervision of the Section Chief for Talent Acquisition Programs, this position ensures high‑quality recruitment outcomes, positive candidate experiences, and consistent application of policies and procedures across a complex recruitment cycle.

Requirements

A university degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources or related field, supplemented by a minimum of three years of relevant work experience, is required. Alternatively, a minimum of two years of experience in HR work, or related field, at Grade A06, or equivalent, is required.
Relevant experience in operational aspects of recruitment or talent programs, sound awareness of recruitment, practices, and procedures, and the learning agility to quickly take on and apply policy knowledge is required.
Proficiency in using recruitment applicant tracking systems (ideally Workday), and strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools is expected.
Proven project management, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication with demonstrated diplomacy and tact in stakeholder engagement.

Nice To Haves

Ideal candidates would have direct experience supporting IMF recruitment processes.
Experience in budget and resource management would also be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Recruitment program operation Provide operational, logistical, and organizational support for centralized recruitment programs including preparation and implementation of the EP outreach, selection, onboarding, transfer markets, and graduation markets and support for Economist Committee (EC) meetings.
Execute and monitor all stages of the recruitment cycle in recruitment systems ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Plan and coordinate assessment activities including scheduling for candidates and assessors, logistics, budget requirements, and travel arrangements, and documentation of outcomes.
Stakeholder coordination, engagement, and representation Serve as a primary operational point of contact and provide close liaison with candidates, program participants, hiring departments, EC members and other stakeholders on operational and process-related matters ensuring consistent, timely, and professional communication.
Collaborate with HR Operations teams and relevant Centers of Expertise (COE) colleagues, and staff across the Fund to facilitate knowledge transfer and share policy changes that impact operational activities, ensuring processes are aligned and task handovers are seamless.
Represent the Fund as a program ambassador in internal and external forums, outreach activities, and events as required.
Analytics, compliance, and systems Produce real-time reporting and ongoing analytics including selection outcomes, compliance indicators, program metrics, and SLAs.
Monitor adherence to recruitment policies and procedures, identifying risks, inconsistencies, or gaps and escalating issues with proposed solutions.
Actively participate in projects related to system updates and enhancements including design and user acceptance testing for tools related to assigned programs.
Program enhancements and cross-functional support Contribute to the design and execution of innovative recruitment programs and initiatives focused on attracting qualified external talent aligned to evolving Fund requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline policies and processes, liaising with relevant parties including functional administrators and HR Operations counterparts to identify inefficiencies.
Ensure changes and policy interpretations are recorded, tracking previous versions to maintain version control and accuracy, and updating all related outreach materials, webpages, and documents.
Support the Talent division, leveraging broad knowledge to assist with projects including for other programs and activities as needed.
